Canvas has a great opportunity for a talented Project Scheduler supporting in Huntsville, AL.



  • Establish and coordinate business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting objectives.
  • Analyze and review vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the Integrated Master Schedule, and Summary Schedules.
  • Compile and report Monthly Schedule Analysis of Critical/Driving Paths, Schedule Risk Analysis (SRAs), DCMA 14 Point Assessment, GAO best practices and guidelines, trend analysis, etc.
  • Support and/or lead Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and Schedule Deep Dives (SDDs), possess ability to brief Government customer results.
  • Provide critical path impact analysis and recommending conflict resolution actions as required to the Government Program Manager.
  • Provide additional program, top level, reports of the Program IMS using Milestones Professional as may be required by the Program Manager. The Scheduler is expected to define the schedule of a project or task, be self-sufficient, and require minimal supervision.
  • Manipulate and update schedules real time during meetings and respond to questions from customers regarding milestones and changes (as related to the MS Project software).



Must have-

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-15 years direct program scheduling experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Proficiency in MS Project Professional
  • Capable of leading and executing tasks associated with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) planning, development, execution and analysis for complex weapon systems.
  • Capable of working independently or providing mentoring to support team in problem solving.
  • Capable of interacting with multiple Integrated Project Teams to validate and understand requirements to assign resources, establish durations, validate horizontal and vertical traceability, validate critical path, and conduct schedule risk analysis.
  • Demonstrated MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint and relational database tools for data management (and reporting) are required.


Good to have-

  • Familiarity with MS Project; Real Time Projects, Open Plan and knowledge of Primavera or other scheduling tools.
  • Microsoft Office/Project Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming skills.
